In my sixth future routes post, I will document and analyze all the future routes coming to the Paris area. I will highlight future routes from the following airports:
- Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport
- Paris Orly Airport
- Paris-Beauvais Airport
I know many of you are probably thinking “what is Beauvais Airport?” It is an airport one and a half hours to the north of Paris that mainly serves low cost carriers such as Ryanair and Wizz Air. Maybe I shouldn’t have qualified it as a Paris airport since it is so far away, but since it technically serves the Paris area, I have decided to include feature routes from Beauvais Airport in this post.
In this post, I am also including terminal maps of CDG and Orly airports and will be saying which terminal each airline operates out of for each route so you can know which terminal each airline operates out of at the airport. I will use Google Earth imagery with captions for the terminal maps. No, I am not doing a terminal map for Beauvais Airport as there really is only one small terminal there.
At Charles de Gaulle Airport, there are three main terminal areas. Terminal 1 is home to many airlines that aren’t partnered with Air France such as United. The terminal features multiple satellite terminals out of one central building. Terminal 2 features many different sub sections of the terminal and is home to airlines such as Air France (and their partners) and Easyjet. Terminal 3 only features hard stand gates where you have to use a bus to get to the aircraft and is home to many low cost carriers such as Vueling.

Paris Orly Airport has only two terminals, so I will not be making an airport map for them. The first terminal, the South Terminal, is used by many low cost carriers such as Aigle Azur and Transavia while the West Terminal is predominately used by Air France and Vueling.
