For example, now that we are Seattle-ites, we fly Alaska. On Alaska, where we have no status (but do have first bag free with the Alaska Signature Visa), I frequently find that first class is no more than $50 more when accounting for 2 checked bags (oddly, they don’t let you piggyback the two free checked bags with the free bag via credit card.

Note:. Emirates first AND business products, at least on the A380, offer chauffeur service to and from many (buy not all) airports.
